Parents: please be sure your child brings a drink to every practice.  It is very important that each child stays hydrated.

Approaching Coaches:  Parents please do not approach a coach after a loss or when you are angry.  It is important that discussions with coaches are had when both parties are calm.  Also, remember that comments or questions need to be directed to the Head coach only.  Thank you for your respect in this matter.


**Cleats: Metal screw in cleats are against Central Carolina Football Associations rules.  Please be sure your player has molded cleats.**

Our program has successfully been granted our own chapter of the NAYS for NYSCA training.  Barry Gillispie is our clinician for the Panthers.  We are very excited!  To read the official press release click on the link below:

1st practice begins August 1st @ 6pm at Carson's Furniture. 

Sign ups continue for flag, varsity, and cheerleading.  Anyone interested in playing can go to the sign up page to register.  Our Rookie and JV teams are full at this time. 

Note that fees have changed.  Registration is $75 plus a spirit pack fee of $25.  The spirit pack will include a mouth piece, sports shirt, and end of season trophy.  

CHAMPIONS!!!!!

Flag Panthers traveled to Southwest Randolph High School to defend their undefeated record and finish their season journey to be the CPFL Champion.  They faced undefeated Durham Bethesda in a battle of the undefeated.  After a tough fought game the Panthers kneeled on the ball with 27 seconds left to cap off a 7-6 victory to claim the Panthers 1st Division I Central Piedmont Football League Championship! 

We are excited to announce that all FOUR Panther Teams advanced to this year's playoffs!

Flag Panthers won their first Southwest Division Championship going undefeated through the regular season.  Flag Panthers won their 1st round playoff game against New Market and advanced to the Western  Championship where they defeated the Randleman Tigers.  The Panthers finished the season with a big win over Durham Bethesda to claim the Panther's 1st CPFL Championship.

Rookie Panthers won their 1st round playoff game in Division II Saturday knocking off the Randleman Tigers. The Rookies advanced to the Western Conference Championship and lost to SouthWest Randolph 20-19 in a game that came down to the last drive. 

Junior Varsity Panthers finished 2nd in the Southwest Division with a record of 5-1.  The JV earned a spot in the Division I playoffs and knocked off the Northwest Divisional  champion SouthEast Guilford Sharks.  The JV advanced in the playoffs to face undefeated Ragsdale for the Western Conference Division I Championship.  The Panthers gave Ragsdale their toughest game of the season but just fell short of the upset.

Varsity Panthers
finished 2nd in the Southwest Division.  The Varsity earned a trip to the Division I playoffs for the 1st time and faced undefeated SouthEast Guilford in Asheboro.  The Varsity gave SouthEast Guilford a scare and put up a tough fight but their season ended with a 32-15 loss Saturday.
 

Our Panther Cheerleaders will be competing November 14th in the 2010 CPFL Cheerleading Competition at Northwood High School in Pittsboro, NC.  Competition begins at 2:00pm.  We are very proud of the job these ladies have done so come out and support our girls as they bring home the trophy!
